Production Description

This Common Language NEP Startup package consists of the following two items:

1.    Manufacturer Codes (MFR) Codes are assigned and administered by Common Language Information Services as the maintenance agent for ANSI (American National Standards Institute) approved ATIS Standard document ATIS-0300220, which is the specification for these codes.  The code is a four character alphabetic code that represents a company that manufactures equipment or provides supplies and/or services to the telecommunications industry.

2.    Startup Documents include:

·         The industry Generic Requirements (GR) documentation associated with CLEI coding

·         The Common Language Job Aids that support Equipment Coding
